The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Strikes Again

Hi folks!  A little blown transformer (no, not Bumble Bee) resulted in the power going out for 30 minutes on the show today.  I'm pretty sure that was the Glenn Beck people just screwing with me.  I've got no evidence, but like Glenn himself, "My gut's just telling me it's true."  ;->

Thanks to Art Gomez of Casa Blanca Cafe for hanging out with me during the power outage and sticking around long enough to share the greatness of Casa Blanca Cafe with everyone.  If you haven't been, it's so freakin' cool!  There's an outside patio (often featuring some great live music), a great high-ceiling-ed inside (it's in the old White's Building, so what do you expect?), and then a super cozy upstairs, aka, the mezzanine.  They've got a  coupon in the Discover Downtown Passport, so be sure to check them out this Saturday . . .  you won't be disappointed!

Also, we had in studio Andrea Lombardo of Du Jour Fine Foods.  Whether you're looking for some specialty ingredients for cooking or just want a great sandwich for lunch, Du Jour is your place.  They're allegedly having a sandwich eating contest where the winner gets the sandwich named after them!  I so hope we're doing remote broadcasts by then because I'm so there!

Tomorrow on the show I'll be covering some more health care debate myths, talk more about the Richmond County District 1 Commission race, talk more Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, and reveal some disturbing data from Richmond County schools.  Oh, and I'll be chatting with the owners of New Moon Cafe and Oasis Garden as Downtown Augusta Week marches on on The Anthony Esposito Show!
