I forgot to post on the previous blog post the contact information for the upcoming Stop Obama Care rally at the RiverWalk Ampitheatre. There website is SOCRally.com and the event is schedule for Thursday, September 3, from 5pm to 9pm. They don't say it, but I'd bring my "god and my guns" just to make sure. I'm actually going to ask them if I can speak as a measured and informed opinion. I mean, if they feel that this meeting is supposed to be like a town hall, then I think measured dissent (or just some moderation) would be welcome. We shall see . . .
Had a great time with my guests on Friday. First we had Sherry Barnes, Chairman of the Richmond County Republican Committee. Always good to have a fellow attorney in the studio as we are truly the salt of the earth. ;-> If you'd like to know more about the Richmond County Republican Party, just go to their website here.
And since it was Friday on The Anthony Esposito Show, that mean we had another great local musician in the studio. This week I was honored to chat with John Kolbeck, former guitarist for People Who Must. John currently works in several local bands doing cover and original work. If you'd like to download some of his solo creations, go to www.digistation.com. If you'd like to take guitar lessons or book him for events (including weddings!!!), just shoot him an e-mail at JohnKolbeck@comcast.net.
Next week on The Anthony Esposito Show, it's Downtown Augusta Week!! Every guest will be from downtown and we'll be promoting two great downtown events all week - Paddlefest '09 and the Discover Downtown event. Tune in to learn more about the most progressive area of the CSRA!
Oh, and about that police officer that got fired for photographing a waitress holding his gun while she sat on his patrol car . . . here it is. Enjoy!
