From Bands to Beauty Pageants . . .

Hi everyone! Today's show had a little bit for everyone.

If you're one of these black helicopter birthers, then you were dismayed to see this evidence: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

Take a look at this:

Yep, the prez was most definitely Born in the USA. Now can we get on to substantive issues?

In the studio, we had the futuristic local band, My Instant Lunch. They have a myspace site at www.myspace.com/myinstantlunch and will be playing on Friday, 14 - FOR FREE - at The Playground downtown. Want some of their music as fast as you can cook a cup of ramens? How about faster? Go to the iTunes store and buy their latest EP, "Tales of Woah," now!

We also had the newly crowned Miss Teen United State 2009, Courtney Turner, on the show. She's using the platform her crown has given her to make Americans more aware of the issue of international human trafficking. Once she gets her website for her newly formed H.O.P.E. (Helping Open People's Eyes) group up, we'll post it here on my blog.

Tomorrow on the show, the founder of Volunteer Augusta, Angela Hillesland, and the world traveling, guitar-playing pastor of National Hills Baptist, Kevin Steele. I don't know if Kevin knows it or not but Wednesday is guitarmageddon (thanks Steven Colbert!) and we're going to battle axes, LIVE on the show! Tune in tomorrow at noon until 3pm!
