Mission Accomplished!

Hey folks!  Hope you tuned in today to hear "Mission Accomplished" regarding "Apostrophe-gate."  Yes, yes, field reports say that Parks and Recreation have painted a pair of missing apostrophes on the 23 year old (and grammatically incorrect) Newman Tennis Center Sign.  What was the error?  Well, see for yourself:

Today featured a bevy of great guests.  First up was Billy Jackson, the creator of tomorrow's Stop Obama Care Rally at the RiverWalk Ampitheater.  To learn more, visit socrally.com

Next up, we had Candye Smith of Give It 4Ward.   What's Give It 4Ward?  I'm glad you asked.  Just take a look at this - Channel 12 WRDW had an entire page dedicated to her organization.  As Candye surprised me with a pair of coupons from Chick-fil-A, it looks like it's my turn to give it forward . . .

Also, as if you didn't know already, the Kroc Center is almost here.  I had Derek Dugan, the Kroc Center Coordinator on my show.  What's the Kroc Center, well, check this out: krocaugusta.org
If you'd like more pics and such, just go to facebook.com and search Kroc Center of Augusta.  What's facebook?  Well, I can't help you there . . .

And now for some highlights (and lowlights) form my presentation before the Augusta-Richmond County Commission from Tuesday:

The former Augusta Golf & Gardens under the "care" of the State of Georgia from January 2009 to May 2009:

The former Augusta Golf & Gardens under the care of Growing Augusta the GreenWay members and random volunteers from throughout the CSRA:

And, for the first time online, a picture of the home of the $1.5 million of bronze golf statues, where the 6 statues have been in hiding for 2 years (as of Sept. 6):

Miffed yet?
